Crofton Diving is a shipbuilding and marine construction operation located in Portsmouth, VA. Crofton Diving maintains sizable contracts with both the commercial and military sectors. Crofton Diving required a new administration complex to manage its growing business and called upon USMGE to deliver solutions.
The approved specifications called for exterior stucco embossed HardiPanel® finish, rubber membrane roof system, roof mounted HVAC units, finished gypsum walls onsite, custom interior moulding package, and cabinetry. The final touch to this modular building is a glass wall of French Door assemblies measuring approximately 76 feet across, providing a panoramic view of barge and crane activity at the Crofton site.
The project was completed on time and on budget, allowing Crofton Diving to continue business without delay.
“Thank you for working with Gilman School on this complicated project! During the permit process with Baltimore City, USMGE™ was successful, often on short notice, to help Gilman resolve the issues with the City government. We were very pleased with the amount of time it took to have the buildings renovated and installed, on time and on budget. Overall we have found our relationship with USMGE™...to be a rewarding and satisfactory experience. We would be pleased to recommend USMGE™ [to any potential customer].”
